GREGORY T. ALVAREZ is a partner with the Morristown office of Jackson Lewis
LLP, focusing his practice on employment litigation and counseling. Mr. Alvarez
received his juris doctor degree from Fordham University, School of Law and
his undergraduate degree from Cornell University, School of Industrial and
Labor Relations. Prior to law school, Mr. Alvarez worked as a Human Resource
Executive for Macy's. Mr. Alvarez joined Jackson Lewis in 1994. He counsels
employers on complying with the law and minimizing their risk of employment
law claims. He also defends employers in federal and state court litigation
and administrative charges. Mr. Alvarez has been admitted to practice in New
Jersey, New York, the United States District Court for the District of New
Jersey, and the United States Appellate Court for the Third and Fourth Circuits.
Mr. Alvarez co-chairs the firm's Hispanic Affinity Group, and is a member of
the Hispanic National Bar Association and the New Jersey Hispanic Bar Association.
Mr. Alvarez is also a proud member of SHRM National and acts as the Legislative/Legal
Officer for the North Jersey Rockland Chapter. Mr. Alvarez works closely with
numerous SHRM chapters and other similar business organizations, regularly
speaking on a wide variety of employment law issues. Mr. Alvarez has co-authored
several articles on a variety of employment law issues, including Dealing with

BRETT M. ANDERS is a partner with the Morristown office of Jackson Lewis
LLP. He routinely advises clients regarding day-to-day employment issues,
such as employee discipline and discharge, disability management issues,
reductions-in-force and restrictive covenants. He also regularly conducts
training programs for employers on a variety of employment-related topics,
such as performance management, sexual harassment awareness and disability
management. Mr. Anders has extensive experience representing employers in
all types of employment litigation matters. He regularly litigates in both
state and federal court, as well as before various governmental agencies.
Mr. Anders received his juris doctor degree from Seton Hall University, School
of Law. He conducted his undergraduate studies at the State University of
New York at Albany. Prior to joining Jackson Lewis, Mr. Anders worked as
a law clerk for the Honorable Louis F. Locascio, J.S.C. Mr. Anders is admitted
to practice in New Jersey and New York and before the United States Supreme
Court. Mr. Anders is proud to be a member of the Central New Jersey Chapter
of the Society for Human Resource Management and the Garden State Council.
Additionally, Mr. Anders co-authored An Employer’s Guide To Avoiding
The Pitfalls Associated With E-Mail And Internet Monitoring, New Jersey State
Bar Association’s Labor & Employment Quarterly, 2001. In 2006,
Mr. Anders was named one of the top forty attorneys under the age of forty
in New Jersey by the New Jersey Law Journal.

RICHARD J. CINO is a partner with the Morristown office of Jackson Lewis
LLP. Richard regularly provides guidance and speaks on issues pertaining
to the workplace, particularly relating to the preservation of corporate
assets, corporate governance and internal investigations. Richard also manages
the Morristown office’s Employer Asset Protection Practice Group. In
this capacity, Richard counsels employers regarding the most effective manner
to preserve corporate assets, prevent fraud and prevent unfair or unlawful
competition. Richard regularly is lead counsel in emergent matters seeking
to impose or defend against the imposition of restraints in the state and
federal courts in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, as well defending claims of
whistleblowers under various state and federal laws including the Sarbanes-Oxley
Act, sexual harassment, all types of discrimination, retaliation, breach
of employment contract, and employment related torts. Richard has litigated
matters in the Superior Court of New Jersey, New Jersey Office of Administrative
Law, Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas, United States Department of Labor,
United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, United States
District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, United States District
Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, and United States Court of
Appeals for the Third Circuit. Among the numerous articles Richard has co-authored,
are the recent, Blowing your SOX off: What is whistleblowing while you work?,
New Jersey Lawyer, March 24, 2008, and Take Care in Dealing with Injured
Employees, New Jersey Law Journal, November 5, 2007. Richard received his
juris doctor degree from Seton Hall University, School of Law in 1990. He
conducted his undergraduate studies at Villanova University from which he
received a bachelor of arts degree. Richard is a member of the New Jersey
Bar admitted to practice before the Superior Court of New Jersey, the United
States District Court for the District of New Jersey and the United States

DAVID B. LICHTENBERG is a partner with the Morristown office of Jackson Lewis
LLP. Mr. Lichtenberg received his juris doctor degree from Seton Hall University,
School of Law and his undergraduate degree from Union College. Mr. Lichtenberg
is admitted to practice in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, the United States District
Court for the District of New Jersey, the United States District Court for
the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the United States District Court for
the Middle District of Pennsylvania and the United States Court of Appeals
for the Third Circuit. In addition to his litigation practice, Mr. Lichtenberg
regularly counsels clients on employment law matters. He has dedicated his
entire professional career to representing management exclusively in workplace
law and related litigation. Mr. Lichtenberg is proud to serve as Legislative
Chair for the Morris County Society for Human Resources Management and has
held this role since 2000. He regularly presents at SHRM’s annual Garden
State Council conference and formerly served on the Council as Director of

JOE LAZZAROTTI is a Partner in the White Plains, NY office of Jackson Lewis
LLP. He coordinates the firm’s HIPAA and Workplace Privacy Practice
and is a member of the Employee Benefits Counseling, Executive Compensation,
Benefits Litigation and Workplace Privacy Practice Group. In that capacity,
he focuses on the matrix of privacy and data security laws affecting the
workplace. He also counsels companies on compliance, fiduciary, taxation,
and administrative matters with respect to retirement and health and welfare
plans. He speaks and writes regularly on current employee benefits and data
privacy and security topics and his work has been published in leading employment
and business journals such as Bender’s Labor and Employment Bulletin,the
Australian Privacy Law Bulletin, the Privacy and Data Security Law Journal
and the Hudson Valley Business Journal. His views on these issues also have
been discussed in a number of publications including The National Law Journal,
Financial Times, and HR Magazine. Mr. Lazzarotti served as a judicial law
clerk for the Honorable Laura Denvir Stith on the Missouri Court of Appeals.
He holds a B.B.A. in public accounting, cum laude, from Pace University,
and a J.D., with distinction, from the University Missouri-Kansas City School
of Law.

ROBERT C. SEIGER III is a Partner in the Global Immigration Group. Based
in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania office of Jackson Lewis LLP, he advises
businesses, universities, professional sports teams and individual foreign
nationals in obtaining and retaining work visas for executives, professional
athletes and key employees. Mr. Seiger also regularly advises human resources
management professionals in the development and modification of internal
immigration procedures and protocols in an effort to minimize their liability
under the United States immigration laws. For companies sending employees
globally, Mr. Seiger advises on the visa and work permit options in numerous
foreign jurisdictions.
Mr. Seiger received his B.A. in 1992 from the University of Pennsylvania
and his J.D. in 1997 from the Villanova University School of Law. He is licensed
to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Mr. Seiger is a member of the
American Immigration Lawyers Association and is currently the Co-Chair of
the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Committee on Law Practice for New
Americans. From 2005-2008, he was selected in a survey of his peers as Pennsylvania “Rising

Howard A. Vex heads Courter, Kobert & Cohen’s Labor and Employment
Law Department. Mr. Vex specializes in labor and employment law and litigation
as well as municipal law. He is admitted to practice law in New Jersey, Michigan,
the District of Columbia, and the Federal Courts.
Mr. Vex has seventeen years of comprehensive legal experience representing
employers on a wide variety of matters pending before the Federal and State
Courts and government agencies. He regularly handles matters before the Equal
Employment Opportunity Commission, Division on Civil Rights, Public Employment
Relations Commission, Civil Service, and the U.S. and N.J. Departments of Labor.
His areas of specialization also include significant expertise in the prevention
of employment disputes and litigation through the development of positive and
effective employment policies and practices. He has served as Hearing Officer,
Mediator and Independent Investigator on sexual harassment and a wide variety
of other employment disputes.
Mr. Vex is a 1988 graduate of Cornell University’s School of Industrial
and Labor Relations and a 1991 graduate of Rutgers Law School – Newark,
where he concentrated his legal studies in labor and employment law. Mr. Vex
currently serves as labor counsel for a wide variety of Morris, Sussex and
Warren County employers, including several municipalities, county agencies,
school districts, and numerous large and small private employers. He is currently
President-elect of the Sussex-Warren Human Resource Management Association,
and will assume the presidency on August 1, 2009.
